My proposal-
Introduction
I will be making my award very centered around sports, football being the main one. It will be for kids and young people to make the award more for the future of the youth and for the streets of Liverpool in the future. I would like old stars such as Robbie fowler and Martin Skrtel to come out and work with us and give more of a pull to people to leave their shells.
How I will distribute it –
I will distribute this product in many ways, the main way I’ll be doing this will be through wide cover advertising, for my event will be holding, I will first be renting out a few billboards around the city to widespread advertising. This could also be accomplished by advertising on busses. Next form of advertising would be digital media, I would make social media pages teasing parts of the events to entice people to come, and this is free and easy to do so it would take a lot of the overall cost. The next form of advertising I would use would be newspapers and magazines, all the above covers all Medias and advertising for my event and would guarantee a good social gathering.
Location-
My location would strictly be set in Liverpool, this would save the moving costs and keep it local, this would not only benefit me as the founder as I would be known in the city with a good reputation, but it would also greatly benefit Liverpool as it would target all the attention to the one spot and tourists would all be going to Liverpool.
Goal of the campaign
The goals of my marketing campaign are to make the community stronger and join closer together, we could accomplish this by all coming together to support the event. This is by buying drinks, buying event food, buying tickets or simply just showing up and being there. This would show the city as a family and a collective.
Target audience
My target audience is all the above, it’s more about being a community other than it being directed to one certain demographic.
Costs
The costs of my event will be as followed,
Food and drinks – around £1500-£2000 as per food rental truck
Advertisement posters- a mix of a3, a4 and a2 sheets and they will be put up around the main locations in Liverpool. Around £1100 from Instagram pages
Chairs, tables, umbrellas (500 sets) - all around £1400- google
Rented restrooms (2x) - around £2000
Rented out football field (x2) - £20 an hour x5 - so overall around £200
Over all needing about £10,000 with an attendance of 100-200 people to cover the costs whilst also getting the most of the whole event for everybody involved
